Frequently Asked Questions

We require a minimum of 6-9 hours per week (3-hour visits, 2-3 times weekly). This isn’t a fit for one-time help or occasional visits—but it’s ideal for consistent support that keeps seniors safe at home.
Do you provide medical transport?
No. This is non-medical transportation and accompaniment. We help seniors get to and from appointments safely, stay with them during visits, and communicate with family—but we’re not an ambulance service or medical transport.
Can you take my parent to multiple stops in one visit?
Yes. We can plan routes to include multiple stops—doctor’s office, then pharmacy, then grocery store, for example. We’ll discuss logistics and timing during the consultation.
What if my parent needs help during the appointment—like filling out forms or remembering what the doctor said?
That’s why we accompany, not just drop off. We can help with paperwork, take notes on what the doctor says, and report back to family. Many families find this invaluable for making sure nothing gets missed.
Do you drive my parent in their car or yours?
Typically, our aides drive the client in the client’s vehicle. If that’s not an option, we can discuss alternatives during the consultation.
Can I book just one ride to a single appointment?
No. We’re designed for ongoing, consistent support—not one-off requests. Our minimum schedule is 4-6 hours weekly. If you need a single ride, we can refer you to other services.
What if my parent needs to get to an appointment tomorrow? Can you do that?
We typically start care within 7 days. For urgent same-day or next-day needs, we may not have availability. Call us and we’ll let you know honestly whether we can help on short notice.
My parent has follow-up appointments after surgery. Can you handle that?
Absolutely. Post-surgery follow-ups are very common, and we prioritize fast starts for post-hospital situations. We’ll coordinate with your discharge plan and ensure all follow-up visits are covered.
